Animal Samaritans is a UK registered charity operating in South East London and South East England

The aim of Animal Samaritans is to provide care and shelter for unwanted, abandoned, neglected or ill-treated animals and to provide new homes for them wherever possible.  We encourage neutering and ensure all cats and dogs are microchipped before re-homing. We do not have a rescue centre facility so we rely on our wonderful group of volunteers and fosterers. We are always looking for new help so please contact us if you feel able to do so…

Rehoming – We try to find new forever homes for as many pets as we can. We operate a non destruction policy and never put a healthy animal to sleep.

Financial Assistance – Whether it is an unexpected vet bills, assistance with micro-chipping or neutering, we will consider every application for help…

Sally – 12 year old female

Sally and her sisters came into rescue when their previous owner could no longer care for them. Sally is a loving and friendly girl, she likes older children and could live with another calm and confident cat. Sally does have Hyperthyroidism and has to have medication with her breakfast and dinner. This is a liquid that she happily takes from the syringe. Animal Samaritans are would continue to covet the cost of the thyroid medication and the associated yearly blood tests at one of our vets. She has also had a dental. Sally could be an indoor cat or have access to a garden.

 £120 donation, includes neutering, both initial vaccinations, recent dental, microchip, flea / worm treatment and 5 weeks free insurance.

2024 sylvester

Sylvester thought you ought to know he is now ready for his forever home.

He is about 4-7. He will need a family that understands that he is still quite shy and may want to hide away. However, he is learning to play now and starting to come out of his shell. A new home will mean a little bit of a backstep potentially so his new family will need to recognise , his needs and give him a chance to settle. After living as a stray for a long time he is getting used to the indoor life, but would probably quite like a safe garden to enjoy. He is not good with Cats so needs to be a ‘only cat’. Not tested with dogs . Children over 12 only.

April – approximately 1 year old female

April came to us with her baby after being found as a stray in a garden, she had given birth under a bush and only one of her babies had survived. She was a fiesty girl while protecting her baby but now that he has gone to his new home she has blossomed into a beautiful cat. She is friendly and interactive and actively seeks cuddles. She would need to be centre of attention as the only cat. She could be an indoor or outdoor cat but as she’s been a stray she doesn’t seem that interested in going out again. She could live with a family with children over 12. She is semi long haired so will need a brush a couple of times a week but she enjoys it so it’s not a chore.

£120 donation includes neutering, both initial vaccinations, microchip, flea / worm treatment and 5 weeks free insurance.

Tallulah – 5 year old female

Tallulah is a Girls Girl, she would suit a quiet, female only home as men make her nervous. She is very shy and is happy to hide when she’s by herself but opens up to be such a sweet and loving girl when approached. She’s around 5-6, would like to live as an only cat and can live with an older child who has had cats before. She needs a lot of patience and understanding of her shy nature, but is such a lovely, sweet, affectionate little lady once given some time to decompress. She has also had a dental and a full vet check up and passed with flying colours. £120 donation includes both initial vaccinations, neutering, microchip, flea / wormer and 5 weeks free insurance.

Lady Tremaine – 1 year old female

This beautiful girl was a stray in a garden with her babies. All of them came into rescue and with a lot of love from their foster mum, Lady T is now ready for her forever home. She is initially a shy girl but is friendly and likes a stroke and a fuss once she is settled. She will need an adult home and ideally as an only cat or with a calm feline friend. No kids or dogs for this lady. She would be happy with an indoor home. 

£120 donation – includes both initial vaccinations, neutering, microchip, flea / worm treatment and 5 weeks free insurance.

Margarita – 2 year old female

This lovely lady came in with her babies (cocktail kittens) and has now finished mummy duty. She is a social girl who wants to be stroked. She could live with a family with children over 10. She could live with another cat with careful introduction. She was an indoor cat, apart from “getting out” and meeting the boys 😝 so she could live as an indoor cat or have access to a safe garden. £120 donation – includes neutering, both initial vaccinations, microchip, flea / wormer and 5 weeks free insurance

Solar & Eclipse – 1 year old male

Solar and Eclipse came into rescue when their owner could no longer care for them. They have only just turned one and are full of energy. They would be happy to go as single cats or could go to a new home together. They love people and have been having lots of cuddles with their fosterers. They could live with children over 10 and could be introduced to another cat. They will need access to a safe garden. £120 donation – includes neutering, both initial vaccinations, microchip, flea / worm treatment and 5 weeks free insurance
